When is my first service due?
BMW of North Haven recommends having your BMW serviced at least once a year. M series cars such as the BMW M3, BMW M5 and BMW M6 require first service at 1,200 miles. All BMW vehicles are equipped with an intelligent onboard monitoring system that calculates service intervals based on your driving habits. Each time you start your BMW, a display on the dashboard will tell you how many miles remain until your next BMW service is due.
Can my BMW be serviced anywhere? BMW Maintenance/Warranty provisions are limited to authorized BMW dealers.
Is an appointment needed for service?
An appointment is necessary, except in the case of emergency service. Click here to schedule a service appointment!

What are “run-flat” tires?
Run-flat tires, available on many models, are pneumatic vehicle tires designed to resist the effects of deflation when punctured, enabling the vehicle to continue to be driven. The tire is built with stiffer side-walls that can bear the vehicle’s weight even when tire pressure is greatly reduced. Layers of rubber and a heat-resistant cord prevent the side-walls from folding or creasing. The bead around the edge of the tire is also specialized to grip the wheel rim and prevent it from detaching.
