Mauro Motors Supports Closer To Free Ride

All of the Mauro Motors family of dealerships threw their support behind the 15th annual Closer To Free Ride to benefit Smilow Cancer Hospital and the Yale Cancer Center. It took a crew of 600 volunteers to help more than 2,000 riders at this year’s event, and Mauro Motors leant almost 20 vehicles – everything from a 2026 X5 xDrive50e, to 2025 Mercedes-Benz GL and C-class models, and a Sprinter cargo van, to a selection from our diverse pre-owned inventory, including Hyundai Santa Fe, Honda Pilot, and Nissan Pathfinder.

BMW of North Haven displayed 2025 iX and 740i models in the start/finish area beside a G63 AMG and GLE53 AMG from Mercedes-Benz of North Haven, which were visited by current Miss Connecticut Volunteer, Gia Iwanec.

Since 2011, the Ride has raised over $33,000,000 for cancer treatment, research, and recovery, and this year’s edition is expected to generate well over $1million in donations to this powerful movement for hope and progress.
