Meet Sales Manager Taylor Middagh

Taylor is a true Connecticut original who is from here in North Haven and was scouted as a potential talent by a Mauro Motors HR specialist right out of college.

“I didn’t have auto industry experience, so I started in reception here at BMW of North Haven, but I couldn’t sit still and wanted to do more and more,” she tells us. “An opportunity opened up in inventory control, so I started there and filled that in bouncing around inventory, the Genius role, and sales.”

Taylor was a criminal justice major at the University of New Haven and says her detail-oriented nature blends well with the demands of a busy BMW sales center as she worked her way up.

“This has been my career since college,” she says. “And it’s been challenging but really rewarding developing this skill set and learning the dynamics of the business and how much of it comes down to human interaction. I like meeting the people who come here, whether by appointment or walk-ins, and creating relationships.”

“I want people to feel comfortable and know I’m here to help. Maybe they have a service or parts question outside of sales, all types of concerns, you have to treat everybody as your guest.” She says the multiple roles she’s had within BMW of North Haven have prepared her to assist in unexpected ways.
