BMW of North Haven At The Vue DeMatteo

BMW of North Haven was a proud supporter of the inaugural Jonathon DeMatteo Classic at The Vue in Hamden, where Mauro Motors Mercedes-Benz of North Haven offered a free 3-year lease on a 2025 GLC 300 to anyone who could sink a hole in one from the second tee of the beautifully scenic course.

The golf outing celebrates what would have been Jonny DeMatteo’s 40th birthday on September 28th, and raises funds for The DeMatteo Family Foundation, with a mission to teach and develop skills and literacy to area youth with a focus on sports, technology and the arts through experiential learning, training

, and coaching. For the past 17 years the DeMatteo Family has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating Hamden High School senior furthering their education in memory of Jon. The goal of the inaugural Jonathon DeMatteo Classic was to raise $20,000 and went above and beyond – raising over $21,000 – and with a generous donor offering to match that amount, raised over $40,000 for the 40th birthday celebration.
